Individual Total Sorbed Metal Analysis

• This is EPA Method 3050 B to determine the elements that could become “environmentally available” (total sorbed)
• Used to develop sound soil management programs to monitor soils for elevated levels of toxic heavy metals that are primarily found in populated areas and are usually the result of industry or other human activity
• Elevated or toxic levels of lead and arsenic can also be found in soils where fruit trees were grown due to their use as pesticides in orchards
