Submitting Samples

Soil Sample bags, and Water bottles, can be mailed, or sent via UPS, etc. Fill the bag 1/2 full for soils. Submit 16 oz. plastic bottle of water. If you use the U.S. Postal Service, check with them about their free Priority Mail Envelopes. Samples will be started the same day that we receive it.

Carry-ins are always welcomed during business hours.

Please complete the information requested on the sample bags and information forms. For Soils: Use Soil Information Sheet. Submit 2 cups per sample, (wet or dry) in a quart plastic bag. (This is half full). Water Samples: Use Sample Information Sheet. Lab Policy: All testing is to be paid in full before testing can begin. Please enclose check, money order, or credit card information for Visa, Mastercard, Discover or American Express. Payable to Holmes Laboratory, Inc.

▪ Test results can be e-mailed or faxed at no extra charge. ▪ Free sample bags and supplies will be sent upon request. ▪ Samples are retained for 30 days.
